Center Initiatives

The Center Initiatives revolve around Learning Communities for people who seek to bring positive change to the cities of the world. These Learning Communities are formed around international or cross cultural field experiences and the possibilty of graduate level course work (for those enrolled in academic pursuit). The Center does not assume that every leader will access academic credit but does assume that every participant will seek to grow their life and leadership.

The Center specializes in four key Initiatives:

LE-1 The Learning Community is a tailor made program designed to help leaders and those who seek to empower leaders grow by providing a life assessment, online coaching and learning, a world class field experience, and an ongoing connection to a learning community committed to action.

LE-2 Educational Partnerships allow The Center to provide global urban leadership curriculum delivered in partnership with educational institutions and to develop Learning Communities for educational partners. The curriculum involves a world class field experience in a major city of the world and gives students and educational institutions the opportunity to learn from “best practices” in the city for positive change through profit and non-profit initiatives.

LE-3 The City Consulation is world class field experience where participants learn to map people, places, and systems within a major urban setting or explore a major global issue with other leaders within a large urban context.

LE-4 Global Scholars Learning Community specifically designed to support research scholars as they seek to unpack the urban environment. Special world class field experiences are provided where scholars have the opportunity to interact with leaders in large urban settings.
